EXPERIENCE
1997 – 2007: In the non-profit (501(3) C ) sector. Held workshop for Bristol United Way agencies in established performance-based Outputs and Outcomes. Consulted with several agencies to review mission statements and their alignment with agency programs. Facilitated strategic planning for several organizations, including School of Nursing at King College, Friends of the Arts at King College, Friends of the Woods at King College, and Bristol Faith in Action. Products included Mission Vision Goal and Objectives as well as development of action plans.
For Johnson City Area United Way, consulted on their application process, resulting in complete overhaul to a performance-based process. Held workshops for 15 agencies in Outputs and Outcomes and their preparation of applications under the new process.
Grantwriter for fledgling organizations, including first budgets, establishment of performance objectives, and structuring output/outcomes and quantitative performance measures. For organizations supported, has won grants from Tennessee Arts Commission, Tennessee Dept of Urban Forestry, Bristol VA Community Development Block Grants, United Way, and United Thank Offering of the Episcopal Church.

Dick Jones -
I have worked 30 years for Westinghouse Electric in various positions of Marketing, Manufacturing, and Shipping. My areas of expertise are in production scheduling, inventory control, shipping and
transportation. Prior to Westinghouse, I worked eight years in various postion’s in the STEEL industry and four years in the USAF as RADAR OPERATOR. My educational background consists of an MBA with an UNDERGRAD in MATH.

James H. Wilson, CPA/PFS -
Jim is currently the Director of Personal Finance Planning at Blackburn, Childers & Steagall, PLC in Johnson City, Tennessee. He holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Miami, has an M.B.A. in Management from Florida Atlantic University, and has earned the PFS (Personal Financial Specialist) designation, which is awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is a member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the AICPA.
Jim has served as chairman of the AICPA's Personal Financial Planning Conference Committee and as a member of the Executive Committee of the Personal Financial Planning Division of the AICPA's. The author of The CPA’s Guide to Financial Planning and he has published articles in numerous professional journals. He has authored a course for the AICPA entitled "Wealth Utilization and Transfer", and is also the author of the computer software PFP Notebook. In 1990 and 1991 Jim was designated as the outstanding presenter of AICPA CPE courses in Tennessee. His most recent project is a work book for engaged couples entitled Let’s Talk About Money Before You Tie The Knot.
On November 1, 1988, the PFP Division awarded Jim with the first annual Outstanding Service Award. In July, 1990, the LINC Society of CPA Financial Planners selected Jim as the "CPA Financial Planner of the Year". The National Association of Estate Planners and Councils selected Jim to receive the NAEPC Distinguished Accredited Estate Planner award and designation in 2006.
